I already heard an d seen lots of old Chinese people around here drink tea after every meal. Well, my guama (grandmother) told me that it can melt the fats.
I found out that not only tea, since tea is usually served hot, in general, hot water gives the same benefits. Because it causes your body temperature to rise slightly, you can perspire by drinking hot water, therefore, washing those toxins away. It also remove deposits in the nervous system that were believed to give negative effects on the body such as depression, negative thoughts and the like.
I have been drinking hot water every meal for three months now. SO far, I feel great. And since I am a sweet lover, which gives me sore throats all the time, I immediately drink hot water, and it lessens the pain or it can really avoid sore throats.
Warm/Hot water also keeps off cancer. It also avoids heart attacks. As we have our meals enzymes and acid secretions start and this is when the body warms up. So if we will drink cold water, it is like you are opposing with what your body is doing. (temperature) It interrupts the whole digestion process, thus slowing down metabolism, solidification of food we have eaten and it can also react in the form of a heart attack.
If you guys want to be healthy, try to change cold water every meal to hot water, you will get use to it and you will be wanting it more just like you got use with cold water.
